Make sure to get your does of Vitamin D and K. The two work together to promote a healthy calcium absorption when delivering calcium to the bones. It also helps maintain arterial health.
Vitamin D is absorbed through sunlight. Lack of it can lead to poor bones, muscles and increase cardiovascular diseases.
Vitamin K1 can be found in leafy green vegetables (spinach, etc) and Vitamin K2 can be found in meat, eggs and diary.
Of course, it is best to just find something, like a supplement, that can allow you to take in high concentrations of Vitamin D & K at the same time!
